About Advantage:
Advantage, a trusted leader in Home Health, Hospice, and Contract Rehabilitation services, is seeking a strategic and driven Vice President of Sales/Business Development to elevate our business growth. This role partners with the CEO and executive management team, bringing rigor, vision, and leadership to optimize our sales and marketing efforts, drive expansion, and improve company performance.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO to shape and execute a growth-focused strategic plan. Identify key opportunities, build accountability, and set KPIs to drive profitability and business growth.
- Team Development: Build a high-performance culture by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, promoting succession planning, and ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and values.
- Market Analysis and Expansion: Proactively assess industry trends to uncover growth avenues. Lead initiatives to differentiate Advantage from competitors, capture market share, and achieve financial goals.
- Sales Optimization: Streamline current sales processes to enhance productivity, accountability, and profitability. Establish KPIs and utilize a metrics-driven approach to ensure impactful sales and marketing operations.
- Growth Initiatives: Spearhead initiatives like joint ventures, M&A, and partnerships to expand market presence. Design and implement robust systems to support scaling efforts.
- Cultural Leadership: Cultivate a collaborative, mission-driven culture. Act as a role model by fostering trust, transparency, and a commitment to exceptional patient care across the organization.
Professional Experience & Qualifications:
- Post-Acute Experience: Significant experience in post-acute healthcare, with a demonstrated ability to drive growth and transformation.
- Sales & Analytical Skills: Proven sales leader with a data-driven approach. Experience setting KPIs, SOPs, and implementing best practices for scalable growth.
- Growth & M&A Background: Strong history of successful joint ventures, preferred provider agreements, and M&A. Track record of effectively integrating acquisitions and driving cohesive team performance.
- Strategic Thinker & Doer: Ability to manage high-level strategy while being “hands-on” to drive operational success.
- Team-Oriented Leader: Collaborative, mission-focused individual with high EQ, integrity, and relationship-building skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with third-party reimbursement, payor engagement, and healthcare service metrics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to navigate a variety of sales environments and travel between locations.
