The IT Support Technician position with Advantage plays a key role in delivering outstanding technology support to our staff across multiple locations from our headquarters in the South Hills of Pittsburgh area.
The successful candidate will be able to perform the following:
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is delivering exceptional technology support to all Advantage staff at all locations
- PC builds, refreshes, and repairs. PC and peripherals set-up and configuration
- Asset management entry and maintenance
- Maintenance of Office 365/Exchange email system
- Network support and troubleshooting
- Printer/multi-function device support and troubleshooting
- VoIP Phone system support
- Mobile device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Involvement in new facility transitions including on-site support and hardware configuration
- Engagement in new technology projects and new technology rollouts
Experience:
- At least two years of IT support experience in an office environment including remote and phone support. Health care experience a plus.
- Minimum two year degree from a college or trade school
- Have a passion for delivering exemplary IT Support to Advantage staff and clinicians
- Possess excellent communication skills – both oral and written
- Experience with help desk ticketing and asset management systems
- Experienced in use of remote troubleshooting tools
- Experience in Office 365/Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams
- Experience with firewall/switch/wireless AP support. Ubiquiti and Meraki a plus
- Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD
- Proficiency in supporting a Windows 10/11 and Office 365 environment
- Experience with Apple iOS and MDM management tools
- Ability to perform basic PC/laptop/printer hardware repairs
- Sharepoint Online experience a plus!
This position requires occasional travel, sometimes overnight, to our offices and facilities. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. This is an in-office position.
